Priority Pass adds Darwin Catalina lounge

0

The Darwin Catalina lounge has joined the Priority Pass network of airport lounges. The lounge is open 24 hours a day and is available to members departing Darwin on an international flight.

There is, however, a little catch that members should be aware of. While members gain access to the lounge, they will have to pay extra for any alcoholic beverages they wish to consume. This is similar to the conditions put in place from Priority Pass members accessing the Plaza Premium lounge in Brisbane.

This varies from the conditions available to those accessing the lounge through a $45 cash payment. Those paying cash for entry get a fully inclusive package.

Priority Pass

Members of Priority Pass have access to over 1,000 lounges worldwide. This now included three lounges in Australia – Cairns, Brisbane and now Darwin. While Priority Pass is a paid subscription membership, some Australian credit cards do provide a complimentary Priority Pass membership among their included benefits.

Depending on the card, this may include 2 entries per year, or, on some of the higher end cards, unlimited entries. For example, Westpac Altitude Black and Citibank Signature offer cards with 2 lounge entries per year. Stepping up to a card such as Citibank Prestige gains a card with unlimited access.
