Sometimes, things change for the better. Over the weekend, Accor ALL look to have quietly increased the transfer rate on manual transfers of Accor ALL points to Qantas Frequent Flyer points. The changes appeared on both the Qantas and Accor websites around 1 Feburary.
The change sees a 25% improvement in the transfer rate. Until last week, you could convert 2,000 Rewards Points into 2,000 Qantas Points. Make the transfer this week, and you’ll get 2,500 Qantas Points on that transfer.

You can manually transfer points from Accor ALL to Qantas without needing to link your accounts. This transfer can be done regardless of whether your accounts are linked or not.
Final Words
This is something of an unexpected improvement from Accor All and Qantas Frequent Flyer. As it was, the transfer rate to Qantas was better than many other airlines. The general transfer rate worked out to 2 Accor ALL Rewards Points to 1 Frequent Flyer Point (or Mile depending on the program). Qantas and Velocity were standouts with a 1:1 transfer rate.
Now Accor ALL have gone one better with Qantas their Qantas offering. When you transfer ALL Rewards Points to Qantas Points, you receive 2,500 Qantas Points for every 2,000 Qantas Points you transfer. This means that you are transferring at a rate of 1.25 Qantas Points for each ALL Reward Point.
Interestingly, it now makes the direct conversion to Qantas Points a better option than sweeping the points via Everyday Rewards. Everyday Rewards has an option of converting to Qantas Points, and when ALL first announced transfers to Everyday Rewards anyone sweeping to Qantas would end up with the same conversion rates. Now, you are better off going directly to Qantas. Or more to the point, you would be worse off with an Accor->Everyday Rewards->Qantas transfer than a direct Accor->Qantas transfer.
