ALL Accor+ Explorer will introduce a worldwide membership price increase on 1 October 2026, coinciding with the first anniversary of its rebrand from Accor Plus. In Australia, the annual fee will move from A$349 to A$369, a 6% rise that places the country squarely in the middle of the global adjustment range.

    The Changes

The new A$369 rate represents a moderate increase in real terms, especially when compared with Australia’s inflation of roughly 3.5% over the past year. While It’s a noticeable increase, it’s not as sharp as the double‑digit jumps seen in several Asian markets.

That said, Accor are giving members the opportunity to defer the price increase for a year. In order to do this, members will need to enable auto-renewal on their membership by 30 September 2026. You will also need to keep it enabled until your membership renewal date. If you disable it, then reenable it after 30 September you will lose the benefit of the current price.

    How Other Countries Compare

Outside Australia, the pricing update varies widely across the region. Countries will see adjustments ranging from +2% to +14%, reflecting differences in currency movements, demand, and local market conditions. Markets such as the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Indonesia will experience the steepest jumps, while Japan and India remain unchanged.

    Highest Increases

    • Philippines — +14% The largest increase in the region
    • Hong Kong — +12%
    • Indonesia — +11%

    Mid‑Range Adjustments

    • Singapore — +10%
    • Thailand — +9%
    • Vietnam — +8%
    • Malaysia — +5%
    • New Zealand — +5%

    Minimal Changes

    • UAE — +2%
    • Rest of World — +2%

    No Change

    • Japan — No change
    • India — No change

The lack of movement in Japan makes sense, as sales in the country commenced recently. While it is also true that the UAE is a recent addition, their price is pegged to the Rest of the World price. As a result, the look to have scored a very quick price increase.

    Final Words

Accor’s decision to raise the price of an ALL Accor+ Explorer membership from 1 October 2026 means Australian members will soon pay A$369 per year, up from the current A$349. It’s a moderate increase, but one that frequent hotel guests will want to factor into their annual budgeting.

The good news is that existing members still have a way to hold onto today’s pricing. By switching on auto‑renewal before 30 September 2026, you can lock in the A$349 rate for one more year. For anyone who regularly uses dining benefits, stay discounts, or the free night certificate, enabling auto‑renewal is the simplest way to maximise value before the new pricing takes effect.
