ANA has confirmed it will resume the Narita – Perth route with the first flight taking off on October 29. The resumption of the service sees ANA offering three roundtrips per week between the two cities.

This marks a resumption of service after it suspended flying on the route in March 2020. At the time, it had only been operating the service for around six months, after commencing on September 2019.

Narita – Perth route

ANA will operate the sector on three days a week – Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The outbound service from Narita, NH882, will head off from Narita at 11:20 am, arriving in Perth at 8:30 pm. In return, NH881 heads back at 9:55 pm, arriving at 8:30 the following morning.

The airline will service the route with its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. ANA configures the 787 with a total of 184 seats across the business, premium economy, and economy cabins.

Starting from the front of the plane and working back, the business class has 32 seats. This is laid out in either a 1-2-1 or 1-1-1 layout depending on the row. Stepping back, the Premium Economy cabin sees a 2-3-2 layout, while Economy is a 3-3-3 offer.

Partnerships

The return of ANA to Perth brings with it another Star Alliance member to the Perth market. As such, members of Star Alliance airlines such as Singapore Airlines will now be able to earn and redeem points between Perth and Tokyo.

In addition, ANA and Virgin Australia have announced a partnership, although the details of this partnership are yet to be detailed.
