If you have an ABN and aren’t already a member of the Qantas Aquire program, there’s an easy 10,000 points up for grabs with the latest signup bonus. Between now and May 18, 2015 businesses signing up to Aquire will be eligible for the 10,000 points, and all it will cost is the joining fee of $89.50.
Aquire points can be converted to Qantas Points on a 1 for 1 basis, so that 10,000 points welcome gift is effectively 10,000 Qantas Points, which could go someway to whatever redemption that you are saving up for. It could even be used for a business class upgrade on some of the short domestic sectors, such as between Sydney and Melbourne.
As the points are not from flying activity, they will not go through the process that flying related points do. As a result, as soon as they post to your Aquire account, you will be able to move them across to a Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
