Earn 10,000 Velocity Points on return flights to Hong Kong

    MarkBy MarkApril 17, 2018No Comments2 Mins Read

Velocity are offering members 10,000 bonus Velocity Points when taking eligible return flights to Hong Kong. The bonus applies to Virgin Australia operated and marketed flights from either Sydney or Melbourne to Hong Kong.

    Key Details

    • Offer: Virgin Australia Hong Kong Mega Bonus Points Offer. Earn 10,000 Velocity Points on a return trip to Hong Kong
    • Registration: Is required at the page by May 1, 2018
    • Booking Dates: Book flights by May 1, 2018
    • Travel Dates:
      • Melbourne (MEL) and Hong Kong (HKG) – travel between April 17 2018 and  March 14 2019 inclusive
      • Sydney (SYD) and Hong Kong (HKG) – travel between  July 2 2018 and  March 14 2019 inclusive

While Virgin are promoting return flights, they are offering 5,000 for each one way flight. To be eligible for the points you must fly on a Virgin Australia marketed and operated flight. The flights also have to be eligible to earn Velocity Points. That means that some flights, such as award flights, will not be eligible for the bonus.

The terms and conditions of the offer state that the offer is targeted to those that received an email from Velocity. It is, however, being advertised on the Velocity home page, which would suggest it is open to all.
