KrisFlyer has launched a promotion where members could earn up to 5,000 Elite miles (or 2,500 PPS Value) when spending with Kris+, KrisShop, and Pelago. The promotional offer is available from now until 4 June 2024.
The unique feature of this promotion is that it provides a mechanism to earn Elite Miles without actually flying. While that may sound good, it’s worth noting that the numbers on offer won’t get you anywhere near achieving status. Nevertheless, you could regard it as a bit of a boost. This would be similar to the Velocity Status Credit deal with FlyBuys . It won’t get you status, but it may help a bit.
The Promotion
Krisflyer members will be able to earn Elite Miles between 5 March and 4 June 2024 when spending at:
- Kris+ (both in Singapore and Australia)
- KrisShop
- Pelago
In addition, PPS Club members will be able to earn PPS value on those purchases. Whether you earn Elite Miles or PPS Value depends on your current status. KrisFlyer members can only earn Elite Miles, while PPS members can only earn PPS Value.
The earn rates are as follows:

For purchases made with Kris+, the status credits will post instantly. On the other hand, credits from purchases through the KrisShop will post up to 14 days after the end of the promotion.
Final Words
This offer is being made as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of KrisFlyer. The promotion was initially due to go live on 1 March 2024. But like many things these days its launch got delayed a few days for one reason or another.
