IHG Rewards has a promotion out offering members up to quadruple points. The promotion is valid when you register and make new bookings by 15 January 2020. You will need to consume these stays by 31 January 2020.
Promotion Details
The bonus is set up as a progressive offer. That is the bonus increases after each additional stay. As such, it would seem that IHG is trying to encourage incremental stays from its members.
Once you have registered, you will earn:
- 1,000 bonus points for the first stay
- 2x bonus points for the second stay
- 3x bonus points for the third stay
- 4x bonus points for the fourth and future stays
Stack with other Promotions
It is a little unusual for IHG to be running a promotion at the same time as their Accelerate promotion is underway. However, there is some overlap in the dates of the promotions, and there is nothing to suggest you won’t get points from both promotions.
In addition to the Accelerate promotion, there is also a 3,000 points per stay offer underway for Intercontinental hotels. Again, there is nothing to suggest that these promotions cannot be combined.
Final Thoughts
If you have plans to book IHG hotels over the next few months, this could be a lucrative promotion. Given that it looks like you can combine this with other IHG promotions, you could pocket a good sum of points.
