If you’ve got a Netflix account, you may have wondered if you could get Frequent Flyer points for your subscription. Unfortunately, Netflix don’t have any direct partnerships, so if you want more than your credit card offers, you will need to look at other option.
Fortunately, help is it hand, and it comes from the big supermarkets. From time to time, both Coles and Woolworths offer bonus points when you buy a Netflix gift card. While they earn in the supermarket rewards program, you can send them on to a frequent flyer program. In the case of Coles Flybuys, you can convert to Velocity Points. In the case of Woolworths Rewards, you can send the points Qantas Frequent Flyer.
Generally, Coles or Woolworths offer 1,000 or 2,000 in their own program when they have a Netflix bonus. This can convert as 435 or 870 Frequent Flyer points as appropriate. So, they can give you a nice little boost.

Using a Netflix Gift Card
In order to use the value of the gift card, you will need to add it to your account. This can be done through your account page, and from there selecting the “Redeem Gift Card or Promo” option. Once you have done that, Netflix will use your Gift Card credit instead of charging your credit card.
As these promotions come up from time to time, it is worth keeping an eye on the Coles or Woolworths catalogues for offers. I will also endeavour to update this post whenever offers such as these come up.
