If you visit a Sofitel anywhere in the world, you know you’re in for an impeccable stay. The hotels bring a French sophistication blended with a local flavour. This is true of their hotels in Australia, where you can immerse yourself in luxury for a weekend vacation.

Sofitel Brisbane Central

The hotel features 416 elegant rooms and suites, featuring marble bathrooms. Furniture wise, there is a comfortable lounge, and a good-sized desk if you need to attend to work.

The hotel offers three dining options. Firstly, there is Suzette, an a la carte and buffet restaurant. Secondly, you can dine at the more relaxed Bistro Jacque. There’s the Cuvée Bar, offering a range of vintage and non-vintage champagnes. It also offers high tea on Fridays and weekends.

As you might expect in Brisbane. there is an outdoor rooftop pool and spa.

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins

The Sofitel Melbourne on Collins has stood at the Paris-end of Collins Street for 25 years. Located among the shopfronts of Hermes, Longchamp, Cartier and Louis Vuitton, it embodies Paris chic.

If theatre is your thing, the hotel is located within walking distance a range of options. These include the Athenaeum Melbourne, Princess Theatre and Her Majesty’s Theatre.

The hotel occupies the top 15 floors of a 50-story building. While the lobby is on the ground, it is a lift ride up to the rooms. Once up there, you’ll discover a total of 363 rooms, which have been designed to make you feel as though you are in a Parisian apartment.

The hotel houses the No35 restaurant. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is located, as you may guess, on level 35 of the hotel. Offering 360-degree views of Melbourne, it provides a sophisticated dining experience.

On Level 35, you’ll also find the Atrium Bar on 35, serving a range of cocktails. If you head downstairs, you’ll find Sofi’s Bar, the Sofitel Melbourne lobby bar.

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour

Overlooking Darling Harbour, The Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is located near the International Convention Centre. Indeed, it was built as part of the redevelopment of the area.

The 590 spacious rooms & suites combine French chic and modern luxury. Floor-to-ceiling windows show off the breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

As expected for a hotel of this class, the hotel offers a range of food and beverage outlets. In total, it has three bars, including the Champagne Bar offering a choice of over fifty champagnes. In addition, the hotel hosts Atelier, a French-inspired rotisserie and grill, with open kitchens.

The hotel has an outdoor pool. Its 20-metre infinity pool is located on the 4th floor, offering views of the Darling Harbour area and the CBD skyline.

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth

It’s one of the oldest five-star hotels in Australia. Standing since 1966, the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is a centrally located hotel in the heart of Sydney’s business and shopping district. In the heritage-listed building, the hotel boasts a total of 436 rooms. Most of the rooms overlook a central courtyard.

The hotel’s Garden Court restaurant offers Australian flavours with a French inspired menu.  The Soirée Bar is open from lunchtime to dinnertime with an extensive dining menu that focuses on freshness, seasonality and quality.
