Flybuys is offering linked Velocity members double Status Credits during December 2022. Under the offer, Velocity members will earn 2 Status Credits for each $100 of total eligible spend during December. As usual, the spend is based on your total across Coles, Liquorland, and First Choice Liquor.
In addition, members that have auto-transfer turned on will earn quadruple status credits in December. That is 4 Statuc Credits for each $100 spent in participating stores.
The normal limit only counting the first $1,000 of spend for the purposes of calculating your Status Credits earn will still apply. As a result, you can earn up to 20 Status Credits per flybuys account during the promotion – double the usual 10 Status Credits.
Earning Status Credits with Flybuys
To earn status credits with flybuys you need to link your flybuys account to your Velocity account. If you haven’t already done so, you can link your accounts from the Flybuys site.
Once you have linked your accounts, you will be eligible to earn Status Credits. Keep in mind that you will only earn Status Credits from the day of linking. As a result, if you link your accounts today, any spend prior to today will not count.
Under the partnership with flybuys, you can earn 1 Status Credit for each $100 of spend in eligible merchants each month. Your total spend takes into account your monthly shopping at Coles, Coles online, Liquorland and First Choice Liquor.
Once linked, flybuys calculates your total spend across Coles, Coles online, Liquorland and First Choice Liquor each month. This is the total spend – you do not need to spend $100 in single transactions.
Velocity will then award the appropriate number of Status Credits based on your total spend. Usually this occurs within a few days after the end of the month but can sometimes take up to two weeks.

Velocity Status Credits help determine your Velocity membership level – Platinum, Gold, Silver and Red. The more Status Credits you have, the higher your membership tier. Each Status Credit you earn is valid for 12 months.
