Got an urge to go to Los Angeles? Good news – if you book by 28 July there could be a bonus 10,000 Velocity Points in it for you.
Right now, Velocity is offering its members up to a 10,000 point bonus on flights between Australia and Los Angeles. The 10,000 points is based on a return journey – you get 5,000 Velocity Points for each of the one way flights.

In order to be in line for the bonus, you need to follow the steps:
- Successfully activate your Velocity membership number and then
- Book an Eligible Flight on www.virginaustralia.com during the Promotion Period and add your Velocity membership number at time of booking and then
- Travel between 4 July 2019 and 23 June 2020 inclusive.
The flights themselves can be on flights operated by Virgin Australia or Delta. However, you do need to book under the VA flight number. That is, make sure you are booked on VA1, VA2, VA6, VA7, VA8, VA9, VA23, VA24, VA6552 or VA6551 for travel.
The bonus is fixed at 5,000 Velocity Points each way. It does not matter which cabin you are in. Economy, Premium Economy and Business passengers can all get the same bonus.
