Looking for a little boost to your Hilton Honors membership? Do you hold a Visa Platinum card?
Hilton Honors are offering Silver status to Visa Platinum cardholders in Asia Pacific. This offer is valid for cardholders signing up to the offer by 31 December 2019.
On top of that, the first 1,000 cardholders to apply through the Visa Concierge App are being offered 5,000 Hilton Honors Points. These points will be awarded with your first stay after registering.
This offer is only valid if you hold a Platinum Visa. If you have a Signature or Infinite level of Visa card, you can opt for the benefit of Gold status instead.
Benefits of Silver Hilton Honors status
Silver is the first rung up from Member status. Normally, it would take four stays (or 10 nights) in a calendar year. So, not that difficult, and while Silver doesn’t offer a lot of benefits, they can still be of value.
15% Bonus On Base Points
Once you hit Silver you get a 15% bonus on your base points. As a result at most brands, you will receive an additional 1.5 Points per dollar, over the standard 10 points per US Dollar on offer.
This 15% bonus is only applied on base points and not on any other bonus points.
5th Night Free
A feature of the Hilton Honors program is the 5th-night free offer. This applies to rewards stays and kicks in at the silver level. Under the offer, if you book a reward stay of five nights or more using your points, you get the fifth night free.
Do note that this only applies if you are booking a rewards stay. It does not apply to paid stays.
Two Complimentary Bottles Of Water
Last, but not least, is that as a silver member you will receive two complimentary bottles of water per stay at selected brands. These are:

The silver level of Hilton Honors may not be an earth-shattering level. However, it could get you some useful benefits and a points boost if you go for it.
