Frequent Walker Challenge

Frequent Walker Challenge

You could earn up to 280 Qantas Frequent Flyer during February by completing the Frequent Walker Challenge. That’s right – simply by walking. Qantas is giving Qantas Wellbeing App users 10 points on each day they walk at least 7,500 steps.

Normally, to earn many points from walking, you need to have taken out a Qantas Health Insurance policy. However, the Frequent Walker Challenge is open to all Qantas Frequent Flyers, giving you a free, but small boost to your points.

Frequent Walker Challenge

Qantas have run a Frequent Walker Challenge in the past, and it is all fairly simple. If you already have the wellbeing App set up, all you need to do is

If you do not have the Wellbeing App setup, there are another couple of steps you will need to do first. And the first step is to download the Qantas Wellbeing App from the Apple App Store or Google Play before 28 February. You will then need to set it up to sync with your fitness device.  In my case, it is my Fitbit, but there are other options such as Google Fit or Garmin.

The Qantas Wellbeing App

The Qantas Wellbeing App offers Qantas Frequent Flyers an opportunity to earn free Qantas Points for competing a variety of tasks or challenges. While it is mostly for Qantas Insurance customers, you can still earn a small number of points even if you don’t hold any policies.

During February, you will still earn those normal points. The points from the Frequent Walker Challenge will be paid out on top of the normal points. Qantas says to expect them within two weeks of completing the challenge.
