Hilton Worldwide has announced a third DoubleTree by Hilton property to open in Perth. The 205-room DoubleTree by Hilton Perth – Northbridge was announced at an on site ground breaking ceremony.
The development is due for completion in early 2017. While it is the third DoubleTree by Hilton to be announced for Western Australia, The other DoubleTree by Hilton hotels previously announced are the DoubleTree by Hilton Perth – Waterfront and DoubleTree by Hilton Perth – Fremantle. Of the three, the Nprthbridge property is currently slated to be the first to open.
The 205-room property, to be located at 100 James Street, in Perth’s entertainment district. The 16 storey hotel will be located a few doors down from The Brass Monkey, on a site that used to house a Bankwest branch,
The Northbridge precinct is immediately north of Perth, and positions the hotel less than 1km from Perth’s CBD. It will offer guests the a range of facilities including a gym and outdoor pool, a business centre, 400m² of event space and a restaurant and bar:

According to Hilton Worldwide Australasia Vice President Paul Hutton, Hilton Worldwide’s expansion in Perth was part of a deliberate strategy.”There is no doubt that Perth has seen a recent transformation. At the heart of this, Northbridge is a vibrant suburb where arts, culture and entertainment come together.”
Across the region, the DoubleTree by Hilton brand has been expanding its footprint. There are now currently 10 hotels either open or announced across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
