Hilton Honors has begu to roll out its latest global promotion. – Double Up The promotion, which will run from September 1 through to December 31, will once again offer double points. There is an additional wrinkle for Diamond members – who are promised an extra bonus upon registration.
The Double Up Offer
While a double points offer might not set the world on fire, the big plus of the offer is that it applied to pretty much any stay. There were very few restrictions on earning under the promotion
- No minimum stays are required – even 1 night stays counted
- No minimum number of nights are required in your stay – you earn from the first stay
- No non-particpating properties. All hotel and resort properties within the portfolio of Hilton Worldwide are participating in this promotion
- No restrictions by nights, cities or brands
- No limits on how many Hilton HHonors points you can earn during the promotion period
Having said that, there are specific room rates that do not get awarded Honors points. These rates will not be eligible for the promotion.
Diamond Bonus
For members booking through the mobile app, Hilton have sweetened the offer even more. While thet require Diamond members to first register in order to find the bonus offer, it seems to be a standard offering of 10,000 points after every ten stays. The Diamond Bonus does top out at 50,000 points, but that would require 50 nights in Honors hotels in the final four months of the year.
