As with most Hilton Promotions, there are no particular booking dates. Any existing bookings are eligible for the promotion. You just need to register for the promotion prior to check-out.
In addition, it is the check-out date that counts for determining eligibility. That is, your check-out date must fall between 16 September and 31 December.

Hilton Honors continues its run of almost non-stop promotions. The additional wrinkle this time is that the best bonus comes from those able to checkout during the week. That is between Monday and Friday. If you checkout during the weekend, then there is no additional 2,000 points.
This suggests that Hilton Honors have their eyes firmly on the business traveller. Obviously this is a lucrative promotion if you make multiple short stays during the week.
