Hilton Honors have kicked off their latest promotion – Double Rewards. This will probably be the last promotion for 2020, and they are going out with a good one.
The promotion has two components – double points and double rewards. That’s right – the promotion is offering double points and double nights on eligible stays between 8 September and 31 December 2020. While the promotion doesn’t start for a few weeks, Hilton Honors have started accepting registrations.

- The double elite nights will roll over into 2021 (along with all nights earned in 2020).
It is the offer of double nights that makes this offer interesting. Indeed, if it was only a double points offer, it would be rather boring.
More to the point, the double nights will roll over into your nights tally for next year. As Hilton announce previously, all nights stayed in 2020 will count for your 2021 year. And with this promotion, there may be some bonus nights in there to boot.
While your 2020 status has already been extended, this could give you a head start on getting status sorted out into 2023.
Thoughts
It is not really surprising that Hilton is finding ways to incentivise people to stay in their hotels. Let’s face it, many have not had a chance to accumulate many stays this year. And there is no real certainty around what next year holds.
