Hilton Honors has announced the details of its next global promotion. Running between 3 September and 31 December 2024 the Power Up promotion is offering members 2,500 bonus points per stay.
The new promotion kicks off straight after the current Double Points promotion winds up on 2 September. As such, there is no gap between the two promotions. This continues the Hilton tradition of having consistently having a promotion available. They pretty much run them back to back, unlike some of the other loyalty programs.
Power Up Key Details
- Promotion: Power Up – earn 2,500 bonus Hilton Honors points per stay
- Stay Dates: You need to stay between 3 September and 31 December. Note that these dates refer to the checkout date of your stay. If you check-in prior to 3 September, you will receive the bonus if you check-out on or after 3 September. If you are staying toward the end of the promotion, you will need to check out by 31 December at the latest.
- Registration: You must register for this promotion. This should be done before the start of your first eligible stay.
This bonus is available for all stays during the promotional period, and there is no minimum stay. There is also no cap on the number of times that you can take advantage of the offer (other than there being only so many possible stays in the promotion period). Basically, any eligible stay will receive the bonus points.
Comparison to the current promotion
Under the current promotion members are being offered double points on all stays. On some social media, many seem to suggest the current promotion is better. However, depending on the nature of your stays, you may have different views on which promotion is better.
The current double points offer favours those that stay longer or have more expensive stays. On the other hand, if you tend to stay single nights, especially on a low-value night, the 2,500 points may be the more generous offer.
