Hyatt Announces Plans for New Hyatt Regency Adelaide

    MarkBy MarkAugust 4, 2019No Comments2 Mins Read

Hyatt has announced a return to Adelaide, with plans to open a new Hyatt Regency Adelaide.  Construction is expected to commence next year allowing the hotel to open in 2023.

The opening of the hotel will mark the return of the chain to Adelaide. Their previous hotel in Adelaide moved across to the Intercontinental chain a number of years ago.

To be built at 51 Pirie Street, the hotel will provide access to corporate and government offices.

The plans call for a 295 room hotel. The hotel will offer a range of facilities that you would expect from the brand. For guests, it will offer a Market Café, a Regency Club, swimming pool, fitness facilities and a rooftop bar.

From an events perspective, the hotel will offer more the 750 square metres of space.

    World of Hyatt Members

It’s good news all around for Hyatt fans. While World of Hyatt has its fans, there has only been a fairly small number of hotels in Australia. This small footprint made it hard for some members to maintain their status in the program.

However, recently, they have been on a bit of expansion path. For instance, they recently announced plans for a Hyatt Place in Melbourne’s South East suburbs. In addition to that, there are also plans to open a Hyatt Place in Brisbane.
