IHG has launched two new promotional sale rates at its hotels across Australia. The promotion is similar to a previous promotion that IHG had been running since June. The IHG There’s More For You sale offers two different packages, tailored to different needs.
There’s More For You offers
There are two packages on offer:
- Stay Longer and Save
- Complimentary Breakfast and Parking
Each package is on sale between 1 September and 31 October. Either way, you have until 31 March 2021 to make your stay.
Stay Longer and Save
The Stay Longer and Save rate offers a discount of up to 35% and discounts on food and beverage. You will need to stay at least 3 nights, and up to 5 nights in some hotels, in order to access the discount.
The Intercontinental Perth and Holiday Inn Cairns are not participating in this promotion.
Complimentary Breakfast and Parking
The second offer is a rate inclusive of Breakfast and Parking. While these include breakfast, that breakfast will be served in accordance with the rules in place at the time. As such, it may, or may not, be a buffet breakfast.
The InterContinental Perth City Centre, Holiday Inn Cairns and Crowne Plaza Hobart are not participating in this promotion
Thoughts
At the moment, it looks as though we will largely be restricted to domestic travel for quite a few months. As such, we will likely see more of these staycation type offers, trying to drum up at least some business.
