IHG Rewards has announced its end of year promotion. Entitled ‘Accelerate’ promotion, the promotion is running from 1st September 2015 through to 31st December 2015. It offers members that register for the promotion, a number of personalised and tailored offers. As each offer is achieved, the member will earn a specified number of points.
Members of IHG Rewards that have been around a while will recogise this as a version of previous promotions such as The Big Win, or Into the Nights.
Registration for the promotion is now open, and can be made by visiting the promotion homepage. Following registration, you will be presented with your challenges, together with the number of points that will be awarded for achieving the specified goal.
Following the registration process, members will be able to start taking advantage of their personalised offers and earning bonus points from 1st September 2015 through to 31st December 2015.
The tasks to be achieved are varied, and are determined, at least to some extent, by your previous activity in the program. The actual tasks vary per person, but generally require some sort of activity IHG hotels. They may include such things as:
- Staying one or more nights at IHG Hotel
- Staying at a particular brand
- Staying at a resort
- Spending on Food and Beverage
- Booking an IHG stay with the mobile app
- Redeeming a reward night
New member bonus
For new members that enrol in IHG Rewards, and register for the promotion, there is an additional bonus on offer. These members will be awarded one free night at any IHG hotel, anywhere in the world, by booking and completing just two separate stays at any IHG hotel brand. If they do it again, they’ll receive two free nights.
