Singapore Airlines has expanded its online shopping platform, KrisShop, to Australia. The expansion gives local KrisFlyer members a new way to earn KrisFlyer miles and work towards elite status.

The KrisShop has a number of loyalty tiers that determine how many KrisFlyer points you earn. As annual spending increases, members can unlock higher KrisShopper tiers and enjoy even more miles:
Every KrisFlyer member earns a base rate of 1.5 miles per dollar on eligible purchases, while those who join the free KrisShopper program receive an instant upgrade to 2 miles per dollar. For those that make it all the way up to the KrisHopper Ambassador level, an earn rate of 4 miles per A$1 is on offer.
The full earning structure is as follows:

Using Points
KrisShop allows members to redeem KrisFlyer miles directly on purchases, with 100 miles valued at A$1. This makes it easy to use up small or expiring balances, but it’s important to note that KrisShop redemptions deliver significantly lower value compared to KrisFlyer award flights.

Earning Status
