Langham Hospitality Group has added the ability for members of Brilliant by Langham to transfer points to four airlines. Under the ‘Have a Brilliant Flight’ program, members will be able to transfer points to Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Air China, or China Eastern Airlines.
Brilliant By Langham
The Brilliant by Langham program is the loyalty and experience platform of the Langham Hospitality Group. It launched early this year replacing the 1865 Privilege by Langham programmes.
Under the program, members enjoy a range of benefits at Langham properties. These benefits include special room rates, dining discounts at over 100 restaurants, and the ability to earn status and award points for stays and their use of amenities.
Airline Transfers
Under the new program, members are able to transfer points to the Frequent Flyer programs of Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Air China, and China Eastern Airlines. The interesting part of that combination is that it includes airlines from the three major airline alliances.
The transfer rates for the program are
- Air China (Sky Team): 12,500 Brilliant Points converts to 500 miles
- China Eastern (Sky Team): 12,500 Brilliant Points converts to 500 miles
- Cathay Pacific (one World): 12,500 Brilliant Points converts to 250 miles
- Singapore Airlines (Star Alliance): 12,500 Brilliant Points converts to 250 miles
Note that there is a minimum transfer of 25,000 Brilliant Points. From there you can transfer up to 150,000 Brilliant Points in increments of 12,500 Brilliant Points.

Launch Bonus Offer
As a bonus offer for the launch, members carrying out their points-to-miles conversion for the first time will receive an award of up to 1,000 miles, depending on their airline of choice.
Basically, for the first 25,000 Brilliant Points transferred you will get double points. That means that if you transfer to Air China of China Eastern you will get 1,000 extra miles. On the other hand, if your first transfer is to Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines, you will get a bonus of 500 miles.
The offer is limited to the first 2,000 Brilliant members converting with each airline on a first come, first served basis. In any case, the transfers will need to be made by 31 January 2025. You can read more details here.
