    Plaza Premium lounge for Brisbane

Mark BBy Mark BApril 22, 2015No Comments2 Mins Read

Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited has confirmed a new Plaza Premium lounge is to be built at Brisbane Airport. This development is one of  8 new lounge projects announced for 2015. The full list of new projects in the pipeline for 2015 are:

    • Brisbane,
    • London Heathrow Terminal 4,
    • Phnom Penh,
    • Salalah,
    • Singapore,
    • Shanghai Pudong,
    • Siem Reap
    • Winnipeg.

Plaza Premium lounges are typically paid-access lounges, aimed at travellers who do not otherwise have access to an airport lounge. This may be not having relevant frequent flyer status, or their airline simply doesn’t operate a lounge at the airport.

The latest Plaza Premium Lounges will include new designs and upgraded facilities. For example, the new designs include a 2015 model of its seating and lighting.

Services being upgraded include spa services and food and beverage. Massage services in the lounges will be upgraded and operated by premium organic airport spa brand, Wellness Spa. On the food and beverage front, the new lounges will introduce The Green Market., to promote healthy food options and have new live-cooking food counters.

The expansion to Brisbane comes after the recent opening of lounges in Sydney. While the two lounges in Sydney operate under the Skyteam and American Express banners, it is expected that the Brisbane lounge will operate under the Plaza Premium brand.
