There have been some changes to the eateries you can access with your Priority Pass in Brisbane Airport. Overall, while there are the same number of options available, there have been changes to which ones you can visit.
Bar Roma has closed, and no longer participates in the Priority Pass program. Merlo Caffe has stepped up to the plate and has joined the program.
If you are interested in a lounge visit, there are no changes at this time. Priority Pass members continue to have access to the Plaza Premium lounge, located in the international terminal.
Traditionally, Priority Pass offered its members access to an affiliated lounge network. At the time, there were few lounges in Australian airports. As such, Priority Pass rolled out an option for credit at bars and restaurants at Sydney Airport.
It later extended the options to both Brisbane and Melbourne airports. The options in Brisbane are similar to the bar and dining options available at Sydney Airport. The terms and conditions are similar across all the outlets.
Priority Pass Dining Options in Brisbane
Priority Pass offers members a $36 food and drinks credit at the three participating outlets. Two of the options are in the domestic terminal, while the third is located in the International Terminal.
The conditions are the same across all three options. Basically, if you flash your Priority Pass card, you can receive a credit of $36 on your total bill.
Domestic
The two domestic options are both located airside in the domestic terminal.
- Merlo Cafe is located in the Southern Food Hall Area, opposite Gate 40.
- Graze Grill & Bar, located near gates 16 – 21, Graze offers a selection of cured meats, cheeses, and dishes such as rib-eye steak sandwiches or Mooloolaba prawns.
International
- Corretto Cafe & Bar, located landside at the 4th floor (check-in level) food court. It is a full-service restaurant, offering an all-day menu, and a range of beer, wines, and spirits.
It can be a good deal if the ‘lounge visit’ is included with your Priority Pass membership. If it is, then take the $36 credit.
However, if you are in a situation where you will have to pay Priority Pass for your visit, you may be better off just paying at the outlet, and leaving your Priority Pass in your pocket. While you get the $36 credit, you may end up having to pay more than $36 to receive it.
