Qantas and PETstock ending points partnership

    MarkBy MarkNovember 13, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

After a short-lived partnership, Qantas Frequent Flyers will no longer be able to earn points at PETstock. The ability to earn points will wind up on 9 December 2023. As a result, members will no longer earn points from 10 December 2023 onwards.

There is a phasing out of the program in the days leading up to the end. The ability to link accounts will end on 8 December, with 9 December being the last day to earn points.

Qantas says any points earned by 9 December will be in accounts by 31 December,

Qantas Frequent Flyers can now earn Qantas Points while shopping at PETstock.

Under the new deal, Frequent Flyers can earn 1 Qantas Point per dollar on most spend, in-store or online. If you decide to grooming or puppy school, you stand to earn 3 Qantas Points per dollar.

In addition, there is an ability to earn 5 Qantas Points per dollar on repeat purchases of selected items.

Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth said the opportunity to earn Qantas Points while shopping and caring for their pets would be popular among frequent flyers.

“Australia has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in the world and adding more value to the growing spend on pets is great news for our members,” said Ms Wirth.

“Frequent flyers significantly boost their points balance every year through everyday spending like shopping at Woolworths and filling up at bp, and now they can earn points on their pet care too.”

    • 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent on grooming and puppy school.
    • 5 bonus Qantas Points per $1 spent when you purchase the same participating brand again within the qualifying period.
