Qantas has just announced a Double Status Credits offer to help you earn or retain status. However, this one has its sights on Qantas Business Rewards members. As such, to earn double status credits, you’ll need to be travelling on Business for a Qantas Business Rewards scheme.
The Qantas Business Rewards program is a loyalty scheme for Business. Basically, any small business holding an ABN is able to register for the program. While there is normally a cost to join, Qantas is currently waiving the join fee,
Given that it is tied to the business, the registration requirements are different to other promotions of this type. For this promotion, it is the business that needs to register (and they can do this through the Qantas Business Rewards portal). For the traveller, they will need to ensure that the business ABN is included in the booking
Qantas Double Status Credits Offer
These promotions are fairly straightforward, but there is only a limited time to take advantage of the offer.
Key Details:
- Offer:
- Double Status Credits when travelling for business with a Qantas Business Rewards member
- Registration:
- To take part in this promotion, the Qantas Business Rewards member must register
- Booking Period:
- You will need to book a Qantas-operated flight, with a Qantas flight number between 23 October and 29 October 2025.
- Travel Period:
- You can travel between 30 October 2025 and 11 October 2026
Some Conditions
The offers apply across the Qantas network. This includes both their domestic and international services. However, you need to book an eligible flight to get the Double Status Credits or Points. Eligible flights are Qantas marketed and operated. That means you need to book a flight under a ‘QF’ flight number and, travel on a Qantas aircraft.
This means that other flights are ineligible for the offer. Ineligible flights include any codeshares on Jetstar, Emirates, or any other Qantas partner airline. If you book and fly on one of these flights, you will not earn your double status or double points (depending on your choice)
It is worth noting that the bonus Status Credits only count toward your annual status requirements or to your lifetime count. They do not count toward Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward, and Status Accelerator/Challenge earn requirements. Having said that, to gain (or retain) Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels, you are good to go.
Thoughts
Judging by the number of times the question is asked on social media, Double Status Credits is probably one of the most anticipated promotions on the Qantas calendar.
