Have you taken a Qantas flight over the last year? If so, you could be eligible for a gift of either points or status credits.
The gift is available to Qantas Frequent Flyers that booked a Qantas-marketed and operated flight by 21 August 2023, for travel between 1 July 2022 and 30 August 2023.
The choice that you receive will be based on the number of times you have flown Qantas over the past year. If you took at least one eligible flight your choice will be between 1,000 Qantas Points or 30 Status Credits. Step that up to at least 10 flights, and your choice will be 5,000 Qantas Points or 75 Status Credits.
Keep in mind that this is for travel that has already been booked. It is not for new bookings.
Choosing your gift
In order to select your choice, you will need to ensure you have the latest version of the Qantas App. In particular, it needs to be version 3.106.0.
Once in the App, you should see a banner on the home screen of My QFF. From there, follow the prompts.
There are a few things to keep in mind with the Status Credits. While they do count towards Lifetime Status, they don’t count towards any Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward and Status Accelerator earn requirements.
