Qantas launches a new round of ‘fast track’ to Gold status match

0

Qantas has launched a new round of its Gold Fast Track Offer. Once again, Qantas has its sight set on the Frequent Flyers of over a dozen airlines.

The Fast Track offer works pretty much the same way as the previous version of the offer.  For the most part, it is just the qualifying dates that have changed.

This time around, the challenge is running from 1 December 2021 to 28 February 2022. If you are accepted into the challenge, you can lock in Gold Status by earning 100 status credits in that three-month period. This compares quite favourably with the 700 status credits you normally need to earn during your membership year.

Note that the best you can do is Gold, regardless of the status you have in the other airline.

If you’re successful, the challenge will be kick off on 1 December 2021. You’ll then have three months, from 1   December  2021 to 28 February 2022, to earn those 100 status credits.

Thoughts

It’s definitely interesting that Qantas has relaunched this offer now. perhaps given previous rounds of the offer were affected by lockdowns, they thought it was worth running again.

It is a good offer. 100 Status Credits should be achievable for many, while at the same time keeping the tire kickers at bay.

For further information, refer to the Qantas promotion page for the offer.
