Qantas is having another promotion of Classic Rewards seats. This time around, they are offering a 30% discount on the number of points required for Qantas and Jetstar flights. Qantas is offering the discount across their current network in both Economy and Business.

- Travel Period: The discount is available for flights between 1 July and 9 December 2021
No registration is required for this promotion, the discount will be automatically applied. Having said that, in order to receive the discount, your entire journey must be in a single cabin. That is to say, all your flights in a booking must either be in Economy, or they must all be in Business.
To give an example of this restriction. If you are flying from Canberra to Sydney, then on to Auckland, you won’t get the discount if you book Economy from Canberra to Sydney, and then Business Sydney to Auckland. In this case, you may want to consider splitting the flights across 2 bookings, but this does bring some risk if the first flight is delayed.
Finally, keep in mind that the discount only applies to the points component of the booking. You will still need to pay the additional fees and charges as usual.
