This is something a little different – earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points while you sleep. In an effort to promote healthy sleeping habits, Qantas have added a new feature on the Qantas Wellbeing App, allowing you to do just that.
Basically, it comes down to simply leaving your phone alone. Put your phone down at least 30 minutes before your nominated bedtime, and don’t pick it up again until the morning. Do that, and Qantas will give you 5 points for each night you achieve this goal.
Sleep Health Challenge Details
The Sleep Health Challenge is open to all members that take part. Through until the end of February, all members will receive 5 points for each night they complete the challenge.
- Open the Qantas Wellbeing App and go to the Sleep Health Challenge.
- Set your sleep and wake up times
- Put your phone down at least 30 min before bedtime and don’t move it till you wake up.
- Wake up to 5 Qantas Points each night until 28 February.
In order for this to work, you do have to give permission to the App to monitor your phone’s activities.
From March onward, the five points will only be offered to customers with an eligible Qantas Insurance product. If you do not have an eligible insurance product, your earn rate will drop down to 0.5 points per night.
