    Qantas Releases Classic Reward Finder

    MarkBy MarkMarch 24, 2026No Comments3 Mins Read

Classic Reward seats are one of those little gems in the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. They let you book flights using a fixed, and usually pretty modest, amount of Qantas Points.

The catch? Classic Rewards seats are limited on each flight or route (unless it’s a special Points Plane). So when one does show up in your search, it feels like stumbling across the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

With that in mind, Qantas has launched a new Classic Flight Reward Finder that makes spotting Classic Reward seats much simpler. Built for international flights, it lets you filter by region, city, date, and cabin class.

Search by region if you’re flexible, it shows all major destinations in that area. From there, pick your flight, check how many reward seats are available, and see the points cost upfront. It’s quick, clear, and saves you from endless trial-and-error searches.

    Classic Reward Finder

The tool makes finding reward seats simple and fast, with features like:

    • Browse seats by region
    • Search by a date range
    • Filter by cabin type

For example, you could search for flights between Australia and Europe, in Business Class for September this year.

As can be seen, the tool shows reward seats with partner airlines. Not so easy to see from a single screen shot is the range of partners included. The search results will include Oneworld carriers such as American Airlines, British Airways, and Cathay Pacific. It also includes other partners such as China Airlines and Emirates.

It’s a handy way to see the full network of options in one place, giving you more chances to turn points into trips.

How To Use The Flight Reward Finder

There’s more good news. The Flight Rewards Finder tool is simple to use. Here’s how to dive in and look for a Classic Reward:

    • Step 1: Head to the tool Go straight to flightrewardfinder.qantas.com. It runs separately from the main booking engine.
    • Step 2: Enter your route Search by city or region. For example, you can look for specific cities, or select regions of the world.
    • Step 3: Choose your details Pick your travel dates or a date range, select your cabin class, and add the number of passengers.
    • Step 4: Explore flights Click Explore Flights to see what’s available. You’ll get a view of reward seats, points cost, and options across Qantas, Jetstar, and more than 30 partner airlines—including Oneworld carriers like American Airlines, British Airways, and Cathay Pacific, plus partners such as China Airlines and Emirates.
    • Step 5: Browse the calendar view The tool shows availability for your chosen route and dates. You can then play around with filters such as price, date, and freshness to refine your search.
    • Step 6: Click through to book Select a flight to see more details. Hit Check availability to refresh, then Continue to jump to the Qantas booking page and complete your reservation.

    Final Words

The Flight Reward Finder makes it easier to book flights with reward seats and points through Qantas or partner airlines, with regular result updates and powerful functionality. Overall, this is a significant step toward making reward seats more accessible to all.
