QantasLink A220 interiors revealed

Qantas A220

QantasLink will shortly begin operating its new Airbus A220 aircraft on selected routes, replacing the existing 717. The new aircraft will begin commercial flights on 1 March, initially between Melbourne and Canberra/Brisbane.

Interior

As part of the rollout of the A220, Qantas has provided some further details on the aircraft interior.

Business

The QantasLink A220 is fitted out with ten business class seats in a 2-2 arrangement. The layout is a bit asymmetric, with two rows of 2 on the left, and three rows of 2 on the right. Overall, this represents two fewer business class seats than on the 717 it is replacing.

 Economy

Further back in the aircraft, Qantas has configured the QantasLink A220 with 127 economy class seats, Arranged in a 2-3 layout, you’ll find rows of two on the left and rows of three on the right. Interestingly, as a result of the Business Class configuration, the first six rows on the left have extra legroom.
