QantasLink will operate three new seasonal services to Cooma and Albury for this year’s ski season. These new services will operate from Brisbane and Sydney.

In the case of Cooma, QantasLink will operate services from both Sydney and Brisbane. In addition, QantasLink will operate a service between Sydney and Cooma. The flights will operate between 1 July and 26 September 2021.

The flights between Sydney and Cooma, and Brisbane and Albury will operate three days per week. In the case of Brisbane to Cooma, a twice-weekly service will operate.

The Sydney to Cooma, QantasLink will operate services on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. This will allow travellers to spend a long weekend in Cooma.

Cooma and Albury are gateways to some of Australia’s popular ski resorts. For example, from Cooma, customers can access the popular resorts of Perisher Valley, Thredbo, and Charlotte Pass in New South Wales. In the case of Albury, customers can access Falls Creek and Hotham resorts in Victoria.

The flights will be operated by QantasLink’s turboprop Q400 aircraft. These aircraft are fitted out with 74 Economy Seats. As a result, a total of over 50,000 seats will be available over the winter season.

QantasLink CEO John Gissing said the new routes would make it easier for Australians to access the Snowy Mountains and the Victorian Alps this winter.

“With international border closures meaning more Australians are planning their next holiday closer to home, we are creating more travel options where there is demand,” said Mr. Gissing.
