Quest Advantage Members Can Now Earn 3 Qantas Points per $1

Not all bookings qualify. Learn how to spot participating properties, select the Qantas FF rate, and get your points posted.

If you’re looking to squeeze every possible Qantas Point out of your hotel stays, Quest Apartment Hotels has just become a far more attractive option. Quest Advantage members can now earn 3 Qantas Points for every $1 spent at participating Quest locations,

That said, earning Qantas Points at Quest isn’t as simple as handing over your Frequent Flyer number at check‑in. Quest has its own process, its own rate type, and its own rules for eligibility. If you don’t follow them, you won’t earn a single point.

    Earning Qantas Points at Quest

Earning Qantas Points at Quest Apartments requires a few specific steps. Unlike many hotel chains, you can’t simply provide your Frequent Flyer number at check‑in and expect points to appear. To ensure your stay qualifies, you will need to:

    • Join Quest Advantage — Become a Quest Advantage member and add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to your profile. You will need to this so that you can earn points on your stay.
    • Book the Qantas FF Points rate — When booking through the Quest website, look for properties tagged with Qantas Points. Only participating hotels will display the Qantas badge. You must be logged into your Quest Advantage account for the Qantas Frequent Flyer rate to appear.
    • Wait for your points to post — Qantas Points will be credited to your Frequent Flyer account within 4 weeks after you check out.

Following these steps ensures your Quest stay is correctly tracked so you can earn Qantas Points without any issues.

    Join Quest Advantage

The first step is to join Quest Advantage, or in Quest lingo, become a “Questie.” Quest Advantage is the in‑house loyalty program for Quest Apartment Hotels. Becoming a Questie gives you a number of benefits. For example, you get access to exclusive rates, early check‑in, late check‑out, and a range of additional perks designed to enhance every stay.

But for our purposes, it also unlocks the ability to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points. You can sign up for Quest Advantage directly through the Quest Apartments website.

Once you’ve joined, head to your member profile and add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number. This is located near the bottom of the profile page and ensures your stays are correctly linked so you can earn Qantas Points.

Make Booking with the Qantas FF rate

After creating your account, the next step is to book a stay using the Qantas Frequent Flyer (Qantas FF) rate. Not every Quest property participates in the Qantas Points offer, so it’s important to look for the Qantas Points tag when browsing hotels.

For example, in the search results below, Quest Kings Park displays the Qantas Points badge, while Quest South Perth Foreshore does not offer Qantas Points.

Once you’ve chosen a participating property, make sure you select the Qantas FF Point rate during the booking process to ensure your stay qualifies for earning Qantas Points. (For clarity, I would not normally choose an accessible room, but in this case, it was the one that matched the lowest rate)

As can be seen the Qantas FF rate is only available on a Fully Flexible basis and is also more than the Best Flexible rate on offer to Quest Advantage members. Doing some cross-referencing, it seems to match the Best Flexible rate offered to non-members. From that, it would appear that Questies are being given the choice of their discount or Qantas Points.

    What about Qantas Hotels?

Of course, earning Qantas Points on stays at Quest properties is not unique to Questies. Qantas Points are also available when booking through the Qantas Hotels program.

For Qantas hotels, the standard earn rate sits at 3 Qantas Points per dollar. Even better, this applies to all room types – even Advance Purchase Rates. During bonus promotions, that rate can climb as high as 9 Qantas Points per dollar, making it a lucrative way to boost your balance across a wide range of hotel brands.

If you’re loyal to Quest, the Quest Advantage rate is the ideal choice. It delivers strong value and consistent benefits for frequent guests. But if your goal is to maximise points across multiple hotel chains, or take advantage of high‑earning promotional periods, booking through Qantas Hotels an option.

    Final Words

If you’re loyal to Quest and value perks like early check‑in, late check‑out, and consistent service, the Quest Advantage rate is a strong option. It gives you predictable value and now offers a solid 3 Qantas Points per dollar at participating locations.
