Marriott announces a Ritz-Carlton for Bangkok, opening 2023

    MarkBy MarkMay 3, 2019No Comments1 Min Read

Marriott has announced that it will be opening a Ritz-Carlton hotel in Bangkok in 2023. The 259-room hotel is currently under construction as part of the ‘One Bangkok’ lifestyle development.

The hotel is slated to rise on the prestigious Wireless Road, within One Bangkok. As a development, One Bangkok is a combination of commercial offices, lodging, residences, retail, year-round art and cultural events.

The Ritz-Carlton itself will take up the first 25 floors of a 50 storey the building. Given its location, the hotel’s guest rooms will feature panoramic views of adjacent Lumphini Park. The fully-integrated One Bangkok district will also feature lushly landscaped green and open spaces, which would make The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok a unique oasis in the middle of the city’s bustle.

From a facilities points of view, The Ritz-Carlton will feature four distinct restaurants and bars, and fitness facilities. Plans also include a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa. This would feature six treatment rooms, wet lounges, whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms for guests and locals. The hotel is also slated to include function facilities, as well as a ballroom that would be the largest of its kind in Thailand.
