Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) and Cathay Pacific have teamed up to create a smoother loyalty experience for travellers. Members can now earn more rewards, enjoy instant status matches, and unlock extra benefits across both flights and stays.

ASR members can now link their Cathay membership to their ASR profile. Once connected, every qualifying direct booking at participating ASR properties earns 500 Asia Miles. You still earn ASR points on the same stay, so you enjoy double rewards with one booking.

    Earning Rewards

ASR members who connect their Cathay membership to their ASR profile can earn 500 Asia Miles on qualifying direct bookings at participating ASR properties worldwide.

To qualify, simply link your ASR and Cathay accounts and make a direct booking with a minimum spend of USD 800. ASR automatically credits the 500 Asia Miles to your Cathay account after your stay, on top of the ASR points you earn.

    The process is as follows:

    1. Add your Cathay number into your ASR profile. You can do this under My Account preferences in your account.

    2. Make a qualifying reservation through official ASR channels (website, app, or property direct). Third‑party bookings do not earn Asia Miles.
    3. Stay at participating properties Only eligible ASR residences worldwide award Asia Miles. Most Ascott properties such as Citadines, Somerset, and lyf participate.
    4. Once your stay is completed, you’ll receive 500 Asia Miles automatically. That is on top of your regular ASR points.

    Status Match

Cathay members can unlock even more value with a complimentary status match into the ASR programme, gaining instant access to enhanced on‑property perks and elevated stay benefits. Eligible members enjoy a seamless, tier‑for‑tier upgrade:

    • Cathay Silver → ASR Silver — entry‑level elite benefits such as bonus points and late check-out
    • Cathay Gold → ASR Gold — premium benefits designed for frequent travellers
    • Cathay Diamond and above → ASR Platinum — top‑tier privileges with maximum comfort and recognition

    Final Words

The ASR × Cathay partnership reflects the growing demand for integrated travel loyalty, where points, miles, and elite benefits work together across the entire travel journey. Whether you’re flying for business or exploring a new city, this collaboration ensures you’re rewarded at every step.
