Velocity has made some adjustments to points earning when flying on the services of Tianjin Airlines. The changes, that came into effect from April 1, are the first major adjustment since the partnership began last year.

First Class removed

The changes have partly been the result of the removal of First Class from its regular services. As a result F class is no longer eligible for earn and A class has been re-classified as a Discount Economy class.

Point Earning Changes

Velocity have published their updated earn charts for Tianjin Airlines. They have also split the domestic and international flights out into separate tables, which makes them easier to read.

Prior to 1 April 2018, D and P classes were ineligible on domestic flights. D is now Business, with P coming in as Discount Economy. L and M classes were classified as Full Fare Economy, but have stepped down to Discount Economy. On the other hand, V class has moved from Discount Economy to Full Fare Economy on Domestic sectors.
