If you are travelling to the USA between now and end of May 2017, you could earn double Velocity Bonus Points on Virgin Australia and Delta Airlines flights. The promotion is valid for direct services between the east coast of Australia and Los Angeles.
Promotion Details
For travel in Economy or Premium Economy tickets between Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne and Los Angeles on Virgin Australia or Delta, double points are on offer. In the case of Business Class, the offer is for an additional 50%. In each case, the offer is for travel until 31 May 2017.
How to register and book
In order to get the bonus points, you will need to
- Register for the promotion before 7 March 2017
- Book your flight on an eligible to/from Los Angeles
- Ensure your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number is added to the booking
Eligible Flights
The following flight numbers are eligible:
- VA 1/2: Virgin Australia to/from Sydney
- VA 7/8: Virgin Australia to/from Brisbane
- VA 23/24: Virgin Australia to/from Melbourne (from 4 April)
- VA 6551/6552: Delta opertated flights to/from Sydney
Domestic connecting legs both in Australia and the US are not eligible. Such flight will only earn regular points.
