Velocity has just launched a new offer of bonus points and status credits when using one of its international partners. The offer is available on your first flight departing Australia between 1 December 2021 and 30 June 2022.
The promotion celebrates the resumption of international travel from Australia. It follows the announcement earlier this month of Velocity resuming of earn and burn on its international partners. Now, they’ve thrown a bonus into the mix.
Bonus Details
- Bonus Offer: Earn up to 6,000 Points and 60 Status Credits
- Activation: You must Activate the offer by 12 December 2021
- Travel: You must book to travel on an eligible partner flight between 1 December 2021 and 30 June 2022.
Under the bonus offer, you could earn up to 6,000 points and 60 status credits. The exact number you earn will depend on your class of travel:

Note that these are a bonus and are offered above the normal earning that you would get on these flights.
As mentioned, you need to travel on an Eligible Flight to get the bonus. For the purposes of this offer, an Eligible Flight is a flight marketed and operated by one of Virgin Australia’s International Partners. These are Delta Air Lines, Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways, Air Canada or Hawaiian Airlines. To be eligible, the flight must depart for Australia and travel to or via Los Angeles, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Vancouver, Honolulu.
