Velocity has just hit the milestone of 10 million members. And to celebrate, they are running a Pay Day promotion with three separate offers

The Pay Day offers

There are three separate parts to this promotion, and all members can participate in all three offers. The promotions are running until 13 October, so remember to register and participate.

Bonus 10 status credits

First up, Velocity have awarded every member 10 bonus Status Credits. For most members, these appeared in their accounts yesterday.

It’s not much, but every little bit can help.

Get your share of 10 million bonus Velocity points

To promote their new App, Velocity are offering members the chance to share in 10 million bonus Velocity Points.

It’s a simple promotion, with a couple of simple steps. Firstly, you need to download an log into the Velocity App. Once you have logged in, simply Activate the offer in the App.

At the end of this promotion, Velocity will share the the 10 million points with the members that activated the offer. As such, each registered member will receive the same number of points.

If everyone registered, this would mean 1 point each. However, it is probably unlikely everyone will, so I would expect a few more points than 1.

As with the Status Credits offer, it may not be a lot of points. But again, even a small number of points is better than nothing.

Bonus points when flying Virgin Australia

Finally, Velocity are offering double points all Virgin Australia operated flights with a ‘VA’ flight number.

On Domestic, Trans-Tasman and International Short Haul flights you could  earn 10 points per $1 (normally 5 points per $1). On the Long Haul services (to Hong Kong and Los Angeles) double points are on offer.
