Fly Stay Points

Velocity members get a 20% discount, earn points at No1 lounges

The House - Dining

No1 lounges has joined the Velocity Frequent Flyer program.  Member can Save 20% and earn 3 Points per $1 spent on online bookings with No1 Lounges both in Australia and the UK.

For those of us in Australia, The No1 Lounges network is currently ‘The House’ at Sydney and Melbourne international terminals. While eligible Etihad, Virgin Australia and British Airways passengers receive complimentary access, No1 Lounges also operate a fee for entry scheme.

With the discount, the entry price comes down to $68. This will allow access for up to 3 hours, and you can then be flying out on any airline.

In Brisbane, No1 Lounges are currently building another option – ‘My Lounge’ at Brisbane international – and this is currently slated for a September opening. This is a more modest offering, and will be available to Velocity members at the discounted price of $48 per adult and $24 per child aged 2-11 (infants free).

Further afield, the offer also allows Velocity members discounted entries to lounges in Heathrow, Birmigham, Edinburgh and Gatwick in the UK.

No1 Lounges Offer

No1 Lounges are offering Velocity members a 20% discount when booking online. This offer covers their range of lounges in Australia and the UK.

On top of that, members are in 3 points per dollar spent. Silver, Gold and Platinum members are also being offered 50%, 75% or 100% bonus based on their membership tier.

Locations

No1 Lounges operate lounges at the following locations:

The House lounges in Melbourne and Sydney may be familiar to Gold and Platinum Velocity members. They are the lounges that Virgin Australia use for most of their international operations out of those airports.

Booking

In order to take advantage of the offers, members must book their lounge access online.

The first step of the booking process, will be to provide your Velocity membership number, and to select the lounge you wish to visit. Once you have done this, you will be asked for the date and time that you will be visiting the lounge.

You then work through the process, selecting additional hours, adding the passenger details and so on.

Once you have booked, you will receive a booking confirmation. You will need to present this confirmation when you arrive at the lounge.

While you may prefer not to pay for lounge access, sometimes they can be decent options. Getting a discount, and a few points thrown might help get some people to take that option.
