Virgin Australia Business Flyer has launched a promotion offering 20% bonus points when making a points transfer.
When you collect points in Virgin Australia Business Flyer you have the option of transferring points to a Velocity account. Normally, these points would transfer at a 1:1 rate, but the 20% bonus will give you a boost.
As an example, when you transfer 5,000 points from your Business Flyer account to Velocity, you would normally receive 5,000 Velocity Points. With this bonus, you will receive a bonus of 1,000 points, giving you a total of 6,000 points.
Offer Details
- Offer: A bonus of 20% Points. You can transfer points from your Business Flyer account to a team member’s Velocity account. Under the offer, they will receive a 20% bonus on the points transfer.
- Offer timeframe: To be eligible for this offer, points must be transferred between 28 November and 17 December 2023
There are a few terms to be mindful of. Firstly, you need to transfer a minimum of 3,000 points, to someone that works for you (for example, an employee or contractor). Secondly, the bonus points may take up to six weeks to arrive.
How to Transfer Points
Transferring points from your Virgin Australia Business Flyer account is fairly easy:
- Log into your business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal
- Look for ‘Points’ in the top menu bar and select ‘Transfer Points’,
- Fill in the details, and follow the prompts to transfer the points
- When the Velocity Points arrive in your team member’s Velocity Frequent Flyer account, they will receive an additional 20%
