Virgin Australia reveals My Lounge Brisbane

0

It’s almost a year late, but it’s finally here. My Lounge – the new international lounge for eligible Virgin Australia customers departing Brisbane.

The lounge is operated by No1 Lounges, and will also serves eligible passengers traveling with other airlines, such as Hawaiian Airlines or Hainan Airlines. On top of that, all passengers will be able to pay for entry on the day of travel.

My Lounge Brisbane

As lounges go, it is fairly modest in size, with a capacity of 108 guests. Even so, the lounge offers several zones for activities such as relaxing, dining or working.

Facilities include a hot and cold buffet, a self-serve bar and barista-made coffee. Shower facilities are also available.

Access

Virgin Australia and Velocity Members

If you are traveling on Virgin Australia, you will have access if you are travelling in Business, or are a Velocity Gold or Platinum member. Lounge members traveling to New Zealand may also access the lounge.

Pay For Entry

The lounge allows all passengers on any flight to enter the lounge by paying an entry fee. This price for adults isĀ  set at $60 if you pre-book. If you want to pay on the day of entry, then you will be charged $70. In the case of children, the entry price is half that of an adult.

You can get it even cheaper than this if you are a Velocity member. As a Velocity member, you can get a 20% discount off the fees when you pre-book. This brings the cost of entry down to $48 when booking online. And you can also earn Velocity Points on those entry fees.

The lounge is open from 5 am to 10 pm daily.
