Wilson Parking have recently launched a new parking product going by the name of Wison One* . As a promotion with Velocity, Wilson One are offering 1,000 Velocity Points for new accounts opened during April, 2017. In addition to the points, Wilson One will add a $50 parking credit to your account.
On an ongoing basis, Velocity members will receive 2 Velocity Points per dollar charged to the Wilson One account
Wilson One account
The Wilson One parking account is designed to simplify your parking at Wilson Car Parks across Australia. It comes in two flavours:
Casual Parking – By simply swiping your card when entering and leaving a Wilson car park the fees will be charged to the card. At the end of each month, Wilson will then invoice you for the months parking charges This can be paid either by direct debit, or via credit card.
Monthly Parking – Paid in advance, this allows an agreed number of car parking spaces in Wilson car parks.
For most people, signing up to the account defaults to the first option. You will simply be billed each month, in arrears, for your parking,
Some considerations
Signing up to an account such as this comes with terms and conditions. I won’t go into the details of the Wilson One terms themselves. However, there are some coditions related to the bonus offers that need to be kept in mind.
- You will need to open a new Wilson One parking account during April 2017.
- The offfer is open to new individual customers that have not held a Wilson Parking account within the past six months
- The $50 credit will expire in six months if not used
- There are no Velocity Points earned when using the $50 credit
If you utilise Wilson Parking, then there may be some benefit in applying for the card,, especially while there is a bonus offer on. Wilson also offer casual parkers 5 Velocity Points per dollar when using their Book A Bay service.
