Woolworths Rewards is offering members 3,000 Woolworths Rewards Points for a single transaction of over $150. For Qantas Points collectors, these 3,000 points are the equivalent of 1,305 points. This is based on the conversion rate of 2,000 Woolworths Points to 870 Qantas Points.

It is possible to take advantage of the promotion multiple times. You just need to achieve the $150 transaction on each occasion. If you are making the purchase in-store, then you simply need to swipe your Woolworths rewards card at the time of purchase. For those making their purchases at Woolworths Online, you will need to enter the code 15WRWOW at checkout.

The promotion is valid through to 23:59 AEDT on Friday October 27, 2017.

Woolworths Rewards

Woolworths Rewards is the current version of the loyalty program run by Woolworths nationwide, except in Tasmania. While the program accrues points in the Woolworths Rewards program, there is a facility to move these across to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.

Under the program, every time you collect 2,000 Woolworths Rewards these convert into $10 Woolworths Dollars. Woolworths gves the option of using this as a shopping discount, or converting to 870 Qantas Points. Being travel focused, I choose the latter option.

While spending $2,000 to receive 870 points sounds a challenge (and it is), there is value to be found in various promotional offers that are run by Woolworths. These can really give your points a boost.

Woolworths Points Offers

General Offers

From time to time Woolworths advertise offers that are available to everyone in the program. These usually involve points for achieving a certain spend. There are also some offers on specific products. For example, they may offer bonus points on the purchase of Gift Cards.

Fortunately, these offers can be heavily advertised, as they are used to increase in store spend.

Targetted Offers

Woolworths sends selected members a variety of offers, so may sure you keep an eye on your Inbox. The offers include an offer of points for specific products, or points for achieving a given spend. Normally, these promotions required activation in order to get the points. I will normally activate whether or not I will take advantage of the offer – you just never know.
