Membership Rewards Points to Everyday Rewards

The transfer rate for Everyday Rewards is 500 Membership Rewards Points to 400 Everyday Rewards Points. In order to transfer your Membership Rewards to Everyday Rewards you will first need to link your accounts. You can do this by starting off at the American Express transfer partner page.

    Bonus Offer

To celebrate the launch of Everyday Rewards as a new transfer partner, you can earn 20% bonus points when making a transfer. The bonus will be calculated as 20% of the number of Everyday Rewards points you receive transferring the points.

In order to be in line for the bonus, you will need to

    • transfer a minimum of 500 Membership Rewards points into your Everyday Rewards Account
    • make the transfer between 12:01am (AEST) 30 October 2025 and 11:59pm (AEST) 14 November 2025 (Promotion Period).

    Everyday Rewards Points Value

In order to do anything useful in the Everyday Rewards program you need 2,000 points. You could get this by transferring 2,500 Membership Rewards points. Or you could do a transfer to top up your balance.

In the Everyday Rewards program, 2,000 Everyday Rewards is worth $10. That $10 can then be used as a discount off a grocery purchase at Woolworths stored. In addition, you may be able to use it for a discount at other participating stores.

    The Qantas Connection

As an alternative, those 2,000 points ($10) can be transferred as 1,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points. You can do this via an option in your Everyday Rewards account. This is an interesting ability, as many Membership Rewards accounts don’t have a direct ability to transfer to Qantas.

Overall, this will allow you to transfer 2,500 Membershp Rewards Points as 1,000 Qantas Points. That is an effective rate of 2.5 Membership Rewards Points to 1 Qantas Points.

This compares favourably with other credit card program transfers. For example, it would take 3,000 Westpac Altitude points to get the 1,000 Qantas Points. In the case of ANZ Rewards, it is 2,700 ANZ Rewards Points to 1,000 Qantas Points.

    Final Words

It has certainly been interesting to see various programs add Everyday Rewards as a transfer partner. Accor All members have had the ability to transfer to Everyday Rewards since last year. We have seen banks add the option, with Westpac allowing Altitude Points to be transferred to Everyday Rewards. More recently, ANZ Rewards members have gained the ability to transfer their ANZ Rewards points across.

This opens a backdoor to transferring points to Qantas Frequent Flyer, through the Everyday Rewards program. As such, Membership Rewards Points can be transferred to Qantas through the Everyday Rewards program. While the transfer rate may not be as good as a direct transfer from Membership Rewards to an airline partner, it does open up an option.
