Fly Stay Points

You can now redeem Qantas Points to go to Tahiti

Tahiti

If you’re thinking of a holiday in Tahiti, you now have a new option to get there. Qantas Frequent Flyer members can now use their Qantas Points to fly to Papeete, Tahiti. This arrangement builds on the existing codeshare arrangement that Qantas has in place with Air Tahiti Nui.

Under the new arrangement, members are able to book Classic Flight Rewards from Australia via New Zealand to Papeete, and on the following routes:

If originating from Australia, you will first fly on Qantas (or other partner airline) to Auckland, before catching a connecting flight to Papeete. Or at least, that’s what should happen. My attempts at booking a flight has various connections through cities including Denpasar and Los Angeles. This would make for a long trip to begin your holiday!
