IHG Rewards has launched the Make Every Stay Count promotion. Running between 1 September and 31 December, it follows the familiar Accelerate format.
Registration is now open, so you can find out the tasks that you need to complete. This promotion does not actually start until 1 September – however registration will allow you to see your tasks.

Make Every Stay Count Accelerate Promotion
The promotion follows the same formula IHG Rewards has been using for a few years now. Each members receives a set of personalised tasks. For each task, a set number of IHG Rewards points is offers. As you complete the tasks, you receive the number of points on offer for that task.
To view your offers, head over to the registration page, accept the terms and conditions, and log into your account. You will then be presented with your offers.
The offers are based, in part, on your recent stay history. There are also tasks that seem to bear little relationship to your stay history as well. I guess IHG try to mix things up a bit.

These offers are definitely an improvement from the last round. In that promotion I was offered a single task offering double points. Needless to say, I didn’t really take up the offer.
This time around, I expect to be able to complete most of the offers. Trying to get four brands is a challenge in Australia. Once I firm up my end of year plans, I may be able to sort out a stay at that time.
One task missing, at least for me, is the completion bonus. This is often an extra chunk of points that you get simply for completing your tasks.
While the promotion runs through to the end of the year, registration will close on 18 October 2019.
